Holiday Peas

There’s always that compulsory vegetable side dish at every holiday gathering. It’s usually green, overcooked, and ignored. Not to single out a single vegetable *cough* green beans, but here we’ve got a festive veggie dish that will have everyone saying “pass the peas, please!”.
Ingredients
2 shallots
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Holiday Seasoning
4 cups frozen peas
1⁄3 cup preparedVegetable Broth
Preparation
- Thinly slice shallots. Mince garlic.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic; sprinkle with seasoning. Stir often until soft, 4–5 min.
- Add peas and broth. Simmer until peas absorb most of the broth and are heated through, 2 min. Drain any excess liquid, if needed.

Tips
